We kindly ask that you narrow your request as compliance would be overly broad and unduly burdensome, pursuant to 5 ILCS 140/3(g).
A search of all emails sent and received between July 12, 2022 and August 10, 2022 that includes the term "monkeypox" resulted in almost 12,000 pages (despite removing duplicate emails) with no attachments and almost 22,000 pages with attachments. The amount of time and resources it would take to review and redact, as necessary, these records are more than our office can provide.
We would like to extend you the opportunity to confer with our office in order to reduce your request to manageable proportions.  Please respond with a narrowed response, such as by narrowing the time period or including additional search terms, or provide a time you are available to conference call with our office in order to discuss your request.
Please contact us by replying to this email if you have any further concerns/questions related to this request.

Sincerely,

Sarah Smith
