From:

Dr. Robert Shohan-

I am in receipt of the attached PIA request dated March 22, 2018 seeking a list showing deaths from Leon County, Texas that were sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office. However, I am in need of clarification concerning this request. Specifically, there was not time frame indicated in your request for the data you are seeking. Please note that Dallas County's software system only goes back to April 2011. So, Dallas County would be unable to provide a list prior to that date. However, we can use our billing software system to identify Leon County cases prior to that date and provide the autopsy reports for those cases at a cost of .10 cents per page. Once you provide the time frame you are seeking the information from, we can go forward with your request.

Additionally, I am not sure you are aware, but your colleague, Rev. L.R. Jackson recently submitted this exact request and has already been provided a list of Leon county cases sent to Dallas County for autopsy from April 5, 2011 to Jan. 31, 2018.

I look forward to your clarification. Thank you.
