Copies of any documents concerning former police department employee Walter McKinney including employment position/ classification(s) held during employment, offer of employment, resignation or termination notice, Skelly notices, civil service or other appeal hearing notice, and minutes or findings from any hearings.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

We are in receipt of your public records request dated September 17, 2017, regarding “Copies of any documents concerning former police department employee Walter McKinney including employment position/classification (s) held during employment, offer of employment, resignation or termination notice, skelly notices, civil service or other appeal hearing notice, and minutes or findings from any hearings.”
The City exercises its right pursuant to Government Code Section 6253(c) to extend the time within which to respond by an additional 14 days. The additional time is necessary to search for, collect and appropriately examine a voluminous amount of separate and distinct records.
