Pursuant to the Washington Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Staff roster including but not limited to first and last names, job titles, areas of assignment, and badge, serial, and other identifying numbers. In order of preference, I would prefer that this data be provided as: plain text with comma-separated-values (i.e., a "CSV" file), OpenDocument spreadsheet, Excel spreadsheet, or the native electronic format of the software from which this information is retrieved in fulfillment of my request. I specifically request that you not create a new record for me by rendering to PDF or by printing your electronic record then scanning it to make a series of images of the printed data.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

On 1/9/2023, you submitted a public records request to the City of Kent wherein you sought records for:
Staff roster including but not limited to first and last names, job titles, areas of assignment, and badge, serial, and other identifying numbers. The City requires clarification of your request before it can proceed. However, I was unable to contact you by telephone to obtain clarification. Therefore, by this letter, the City requests you provide clarification of the following issues: Are you seeking a current employee list or for a specific date/date range, additionally which department are you seeking records from (ie Parks Department, Finance Department, Police Department)? The City will wait for your clarification before it begins gathering any records that may be responsive to your request. If you fail to clarify your request within 30 calendar days from the date of this letter, the City will close your request. 01/12/2023 Re: Public Records Request, dated 1/9/2023 File #W045583-010923 for Police Incident Case Report Matter – Full Response Completed, File Closed Dear Rose Terse: On 1/9/2023, you submitted a public records request to the City of Kent wherein you sought records for:
current PD roster. with first and last names, job titles area of assignment and badge/serial #. As of 01/12/2023 the City has made available the records responsive to your request. In producing these records, the City made a reasonable search to locate responsive records based on the description you provided in your request.
The fee to obtain copies of the responsive records has been waived and the responsive records are attached. This letter is to confirm completion of your request and to advise the City is closing its file. If you believe this closure is in error, please contact us immediately.
