Ms. Coviello,

Thank you for your time and your prompt response. Just to confirm, are you all claiming that there are no responsive records to this request despite the fact that various responsive documents have been mentioned and alluded to in both the press reporting on this issue and the mayor's own statement on the eruv on your city's website?

I respectfully ask that you confirm once more with your colleagues (perhaps reminding them of P.L. 2001, c. 404 N.J.S. 47:1A-11). I rather not file a complaint with the GRC or begin formal proceedings with the state’s Superior Court in order to access these records, but your office has an obligation to provide these records even when it's politically salient to not do so.

Thank you again for your time and for your anticipated assistance,
Russel Neiss

From: Russel Neiss

Dear Ms. Coviello,

It is my preference to keep all correspondence in written form at this juncture.

Again, my OPRA request is for any emails, text messages, letters, memoranda or other records mentioning the word "eruv" sent or received by Mayor Bill Laforet, Deb Burns, Joanne Becker or Michael Kelly between June 18, 2017 and June 26, 2017.

Please let me know if your office plans on supplying these records, or if you require any additional information.

Thank you
