Dear Michael Laidlaw, This is an automated message from the NIH FOIA Request Portal. Your submission has been received by the National Institutes of Health. NIH will review your request and contact you regarding next steps. Regards, National Institutes of Health, FOIA Program
From: National Institutes of Health
Good afternoon,
Please be advised that the NIH is unable to search for records responsive to your request because there is no way to search 18,000+ NIH employees' emails for the email address listed in your request, which renders your request overly broad and improper under the FOIA. Please provide a specifically named NIH custodian whose email records you would like searched so that your request can continue to be processed. If the NIH FOIA Office does not receive your clarified request by May 30, 2024, your case will be considered withdrawn and will be administratively closed.
Thank you.
