Pursuant to the Washington Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Original audio recordings of all messages and/or sounds played on Link trains/platforms.
This is a follow-up to a similar request I made in April 2016, and I am primarily interested in new sounds that have been added since then (due to new stations, new Siemens LRVs, etc). Any sounds that were released in response to that request can be omitted from this one, if that would make processing this one easier.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

We received your request on June 21, 2022.
Given our staffs’ workload and the number of requests we are currently handling, we estimate it will take another four to five weeks to identify and gather responsive records. If we are able to provide responsive records sooner, or if we need more time to complete your request, we will let you know.
