LBPD Special Order- Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Other Unposted Special Orders

Dear Greg Buhl: NOTICE: Public records requests and transparency remain of utmost importance, and we are continuing to respond to requests under California Government Code guidelines.  However, you may experience delays in response times as we are focusing on handling high priority issues related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We do not release police reports through the Public Records Act (PRA) request process. The involved party of the report, or the representative of the party (lawyer, insurance, etc.) may obtain a copy of the report from our Records Division. Records Requested: "In the department's new AB 481 policy there is reference to a "LBPD Special Order- Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)". This document does not seem to be on the department's SB 978 page with the other Special Orders.

I would like to request this document, as well as any other unposted Special Orders. Given the last time it appears the LBPD's SB 978 page was updated, this would include any Special Orders issued by the new chief.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
