Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of any draft or proposed "Safe Library Patron Protection" ordinance or regulation, which was reportedly conveyed to the City of Abilene by Ryan Goodwin at or in connection with a city council meeting in December 2022. This document may also have been considered by the standing Library Advisory Board.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

of our approved methods. Requests must be send to the City Secretary at 555
Walnut Street, Abilene, Texas 79601, sent via email to
publicinfo@abilenetx.gov or directly into our online system at

the fastest way, as it goes in immediately on our end, and all other
methods will be entered into that system. Once we receive your request
through one of those channels, we can process it.
