To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
Any and all records and reports relating to or mentioning the Alachua County Sheriff’s investigation into former religious leader Anna Elizabeth Young and her organization, the House of Prayer for All People, which was based on the 700 block of Southeast 138th Avenue off Wacahoota Road, north of Micanopy, Florida.
Young was arrested in Cobbs County, Georgia, on Dec. 1, 2017 on allegations she killed Emon Harper who was 2 or 3 years old, in the late 1980s, when he died at Young’s House of Prayer property.
Young's arrested has been widely reported, including this report from the Gainesville Sun:

In the above report Alachua County Sheriff’s spokesman Art Forgey mentions an investigation of Emon’s death, which involved cold case investigator Kevin Allen exploring leads and uncovering evidence that ultimately resulted in the indictment.
I believe the Atlanta Journal-Constitution obtained many files related to Alachua County Sheriff's investigation into Young for the newspaper's reporting on this story, which mentions hundreds of pages of police reports, and includes a comment from Art Forgey about forensic scientists digging at the House of Prayer for All People property:

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

Jennings Brown
