The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

Mr. Reid:

The City is in receipt of your request. The request is very broad (all sworn and non-sworn APD staff’s emails for just two different words) and is likely going to pull in large amounts of emails that would be time-consuming and burdensome to review. Most of it will likely be exempt from disclosure, as many emails will touch on crime data and investigations.

Is there something more specific you are seeking? The more targeted the request, the more likely we will be able to find something, review it, and disclose it to you more quickly.

Please let me know.

Sincerely,

Hello,

We don’t have a way to extract only metadata for our emails. We can conduct keyword searches and then conduct a review of emails based on those results. Please provide additional guidance on how you want to narrow your request.
Best,
