Pursuant to the Alaska Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Guidance, including guidance to state and local elections officials and Division of Elections IT staff, avoiding, detecting or mitigating ransomware attacks on elections systems during the 2020 election cycle, on best practices for state and local elections officials accessing or storing sensitive information, including voter databases, and evaluations about the threat of ransomware disrupting the elections.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

In order to help narrow down the search, I would specifically like any internal ransomware training that the State of Alaska has provided to elections staff and those who support the election infrastructure. I would like any training provided between January 1st 2020 through the beginning of August 2020.
