Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Records of the District Attorney's investigation into John Rossi, co-owner of Lowen's Pharmacy of Brooklyn, New York (Kings County) and New York Anti-Aging and Wellness Medical Service of Staten Island, New York (Richmond County).
The investigation occurred 2007 through 2011, dates approximate and inclusive. Rossi was identified in contemporaneous news reports as dealing in anabolic steroids, human growth hormone, and performance enhancing drugs.
Rossi is known to be deceased as of 2008; attached, please find death record through Ancestry.com citing Social Security Administration; Washington D.C., USA; Social Security Death Index, Master File. Records should be released in the public interest with minimal harm to privacy or ongoing investigative matters.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
