Pursuant to the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

the last performance review of Howard Lazarus prior to his February 2020 termination.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The City Clerk’s Office has resumed normal business hours effective June 8 and is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm. Please note we do close from 12pm – 1pm for a lunch hour.

FOIA's will be answered within five (5) business days after the day received.

The next election in Ann Arbor is the statewide Primary on August 4. If you have emailed an application for an Absentee Ballot, this response serves as your confirmation that your request has been received. Ballots will begin to be mailed on June 25. During the 40-days prior to each election, ballots are mailed within one business day of receipt of application. Email applications may be considered received the next business day. Please note that 5pm the Friday before each election is the last day that the City Clerk's Office can mail ballots by law. In-person requests will still be accepted each election until 4pm the day prior to the election (Monday). All voted ballots must be received by the City Clerk's Office no later than 8pm on Election Day.

All other emails will be forwarded to the appropriate department for action.
