Pursuant to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Please provide all records retained by the School that relate to the "Center for Toxicology and Environmental Health," aka CTEH, including any emails related to @cteh.com from January 1, 1990 to present.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Nicole,
Your request made under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act (See attached) for "records retained by the School that relate to the 'Center for Toxicology and Environmental Health,' aka Cteh including any emails related to @cteh.com from January 1, 1990 to present" was forwarded to me. Your request was found on a fax machine in hospital administration. There is no record of the October request to which you refer. However, UAMS has more than 11,000 employees and I'm not sure to whom you might have sent it.
Your request for emails/records dating back 32 years to 1990 is not sufficiently specific to allow us to gather the documents you seek with reasonable effort. Under Ark. Code Ann. § 25-19-105(a)(2)(C) "a request for public records must be sufficiently specific to enable the custodian to locate the records with reasonable effort." Further, it's my understanding that CTEH wasn't founded until several years after 1990. If you wish to resubmit your request, please narrow the dates and feel free to provide any more specificity you wish as to records you are seeking.
