The Atlanta Police Department's Security Communication Network (aka COMNET) is a radio link between private security, the Atlanta Police 911 center and APD patrol personnel. The tool was created in 1990 with the support of Central Atlanta Progress and is now administratively run by the Atlanta Police Foundation. (https://sites.google.com/atlantapolicefoundation.org/comnet/home)

Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

All contracts, licenses, data sharing agreements, MOUs, MOAs, and any other agreements with the Atlanta Police Foundation for COMNET.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

According to the Atlanta Police Department Fiscal Unit, the only MOU, is included in Resolution 09R1637. A copy is attached above.
