Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of the most recent collective bargaining agreement/collective agreement between this department and the local police union/fraternal order/benevolent association, or other similar organization.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Thanks for your reply - I'd like to amend the request to cover all current contracts/MOUs with IBPO local 623 and the Atlanta Police Foundation.

After a few phone calls to some union folks, I have learned they do not have any contracts/MOUs with the City of Atlanta but I would confirm that with City Hall. City Hall would ultimately sign off on or approve any such agreement.
