Request for Body Cam Footage of Incident on 06/20/2024

Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am writing to formally request access to the bodycam footage under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) related to the arrest of Christina Peterson, which took place on 06/20/2024 at the Red Martini Restaurant and Lounge in Atlanta, Georgia.

Incident Summary: Christina Peterson, a former probate court judge, was arrested after allegedly striking a police officer during an altercation outside the Red Martini Restaurant. She had been drinking and claims to have intervened to assist a woman who was being attacked. The bodycam footage shows Peterson being uncooperative, visibly distressed, and struggling with officers during her arrest. She faces charges of simple battery against a police officer and felony obstruction of law enforcement.
I am requesting copies of all body-worn camera footage from officers who:
Interacted with Christina Peterson during the altercation outside the Red Martini Restaurant and Lounge.
Captured the moments of Peterson's arrest and her subsequent struggle with officers.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
