Hi, I think there's been a mistake. I've only sent one records request to the Aurora police department, and since the request was rejected, I no longer have a record of my original request for data.
Does the APD still intend on providing their property crime statistics from 2017 to 2019? Thank you.

RE: FOIA Request #20-203
Dear Mr. Ng:
Thank you for your request for information pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140/1 et. seq. Under the Freedom of Information Act, a public body has five (5) business days to respond to a FOIA request. However, the public body may extend the initial five (5) business day response time by up to five (5) additional business days for a limited number of reasons. 5 ILCS 140/3(e). Please be advised that we are extending the time to respond to your request by an additional five (5) business days (ten (10) business days in total) to the date of January 29, 2020, for the following reason(s):
__x__ The request requires the collection of a substantial number of specified records.
__x__ The request is couched in categorical terms and requires an extensive search for the records responsive to it.
__x__ The requested records require examination and evaluation by personnel having the necessary competence and discretion to determine if they are exempt from disclosure under Section 7 of this Act or should be revealed only with appropriate deletions.
__x__ There is a need for consultation, which shall be conducted with all practicable speed, with another public body or among two or more components of a public body having a substantial interest in the determination or in the subject matter of the request.
The City of Aurora reasonably expects the above-extended period of time to be sufficient time to assess the FOIA request and check the City of Aurora’s records to see if the request, or a substantial portion of the request, can be complied with within that time period. The City of Aurora may need additional time beyond the ten (10) working days to fully gather all responsive records to the FOIA Request. If additional time is needed beyond the ten (10) working day period, a representative of the City of Aurora will contact you to advise you of the need for additional time so that an agreement can be reached.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Robles
FOIA Officer
