Upload documents directly: https://www.muckrock.com/ The requested records cannot be released at this time due to criminal charges pending in Court under Cause D-1-DC-22-301129.  The Texas Public Information Act permits a law enforcement agency to withhold information pending to a criminal prosecution.  The Texas Attorney General routinely rules that the Police Department may withhold reports if release would hamper the successful prosecution of the related case. Because release would hamper the pending prosecution, the Police Department cannot release the requested report at this time.
The Texas Attorney General's Office has issued a ruling NO. OR2022-23943 for the case concerning your request.  The AG ruling was issued for this case in 2022, which is still applicable.
