Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. The number of use of force incidents by type of force used in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017, separated by year.
2. The number of use of force complaints in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017, separated by year.
3. The number of use of force complaints sustained in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017, separated by year.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

We checked all of our emails and there has been no records request from you since January, 2018. Where did you send this request to originally? We had the same issue with your request last year, so in the future please submit your records requests directly to the City Clerk at http://www.bakersfieldcity.us/gov/depts/city_clerk/records_request.htm
