Pursuant to the Louisiana Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
A copy of the current collective bargaining agreement (also known as a collective agreement or a union contract) between this department/agency and the local police union/fraternal order/benevolent association (or similar/equivalent organization). This includes any and all memorandums of understanding or similar agreements. Please provide all associated addendums, amendments, appendices, exhibits, and other supplemental and supporting documents.

It is being submitted to your agency partially due to public feedback that your locality should be included in this work. This request is being submitted in the public interest and without any commercial interest.
We will appreciate that your agency assesses any necessary fees according to the public and academic interest with which this request is being made. In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request be filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not. There is also an upload link provided as part of the electronic version of this message that we encourage your agency to use to transfer files.

We are in receipt of your request for records. We will process your request; once your records are available, we will alert your office. Due to a recent high volume of request received by our office, please allow at least thirty days for production of any records that may be available.
To the extent the records pertain to an ongoing criminal or administrative investigation/prosecution, the relevant records will not be subject to disclosure pursuant to LSA-R.S. 44:3, unless otherwise deemed releasable pursuant to the BRPD Public Release of Critical Incident Recording Policy.
