Request for Body Cam Footage of Incident on July 4, 2024

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

I am writing to formally request access to the bodycam footage under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) related to the arrest of Dixie Stiles and Macy Regan following a physical altercation on July 4, 2023, in Callaway, Florida.

Location: 6530 Olokee St. and 6526 Olokee St., Callaway, Florida
Suspects: Dixie Stiles, 18, and Macy Regan, 23
Incident Summary: Deputies responded to an assault and battery call at 6530 Olokee St. An investigation determined that an unsupervised house party was occurring at 6526 Olokee St. Just after midnight, a physical altercation took place between Dixie Stiles and Macy Regan after Stiles accused Regan of stealing alcohol and vape pens. Regan allegedly pulled out a 9mm handgun before Stiles shoved it away, leading to a physical fight in which Regan bit off the top of Stiles’ ear. The injury was severe, and the ear was unable to be reattached. Both individuals sustained additional bruises and lacerations before being arrested.
I am requesting copies of body-worn camera footage from officers who responded to the incident.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
