Pursuant to Open Public Records Act ("OPRA"), I hereby request the following records:
The most recent, complete list of all correctional and detention type facilities located within Bergen County. If possible, please include information detailing:
• the jurisdictional authority responsible for each facility (federal, state, county, town, other, etc.)
• the type of facility (prison, jail, juvenile detention center, halfway house, etc.)
• contact information (physical address, mailing address, telephone number, fax number, email address)
• any facility demographic information (population, number of employees, etc.)
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

Please be advised that the County of Bergen is not in possession of a list of all correctional and detention type of facilities located within the County. OPRA does not require Custodians to conduct research or create new records in response to an OPRA request. Paff v. Galloway Township<https://scholar.google.com/scholar_case?case=5912214512826575554&q=Paff+v.+Galloway+Township&hl=en&as_sdt=6,31>, 444 N.J. Super. 495 (App. Div. 2016).
