Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

1. All correspondence, both internal and to other government and law enforcement agencies, and documents relating to the provisioning, borrowing, needs assessment, deployment, and operation of equipment relating to the Berkeley Police Department's actions at the protests in Berkeley the weekend of August 27th 2017.

2. All correspondence and documents relating to "rules of engagement" and any other rules or directives governing the Berkeley Police Department's actions in relation to the protests on the weekend of August 27th 2017.

3. All correspondence and documents relating to incident reports or other such summary or incident review documents relating to the Berkeley Police Department's deployment of force in relation to the protests on the weekend of August 27th 2017.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
