Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:
Any and all correspondence both internally and externally within the Office of the Mayor relating to the designation of "antifa" or anti-fascist protesters as a gang under California law to be targeted for prosecution as mentioned by Mayor Arreguin in various news outlets on August 27th 2017 e.g. http://www.newsweek.com/berkeley-mayor-calls-antifa-be-classified-crime-gang-after-clashes-sunday-656286
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

For additional clarification, do you also want documents that are communications from constituents about the topic, or just communications sent from the mayor’s office? A preliminary search has been performed and the majority of documents are from people contacting the mayor’s office with their comments on the topic.
