Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:

The current financial budget for expenditures towards vehicle purchases and repairs
Policy and Procedures to have vehicles purchased
Policy and Procedures for vehicle maintenance & repairs
Any vehicle purchases made between January 1st, 2021 -October 4th 2022 including the make year and model of the vehicle
Any vehicle repair Invoices for January 1st, 2021 -October 4th 2022
Any vehicle repair logs for January 1st ,2021-October 4th 2022

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Anonymous Requester: You submitted a Freedom of Information Act records request to the City of Berwyn on October 5, 2022. I wrote to you on November 4, 2022 and responded in part and denied another part of your FOIA request. The denial was based on the section of your request we deemed to be unduly burdensome as defined under 5 ILCS 140/3 (g). I also determined that your request was voluminous as defined by 5 ILCS 140/2 (h). I explained in my letter that under the Illinois FOIA act you had 10 (ten) business days to contact me so we might confer about reducing your request. That period of time has elapsed.

Please be advised that the City of Berwyn is denying the remaining part of your Freedom of Information Act request. You may have this denial reviewed by the Public Access Counselor's Office of the State Attorney General.
