Body camera usage and evidence retention policies

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Vermont Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1) Any department policies regarding the use of body cameras, such as when body cameras should be activated by officers.
2) Any policies, technical guidelines, documentation, or training materials regarding the proper use of body cameras, such as what operating modes ("online mode", "offline mode", "buffering mode", etc.) officers are supposed to use, and how data is downloaded or uploaded from the cameras.
3) Any data retention policies regarding the storage and retention of video evidence from body cameras.
4) Any policies regarding the redaction, editing, or modification of video evidence from body cameras, or policies regarding when video evidence is appropriate to be released to the public.
