Pursuant to the California's Sunshine Amendment (Cal. Const. Art. I, ยง 3(b)), I hereby request the following records:

I request any and all materials and correspondence related to the electronic voting systems reports in the state of California including but not limited to: (i) The Secretary of State's reports related to the specifications for and the regulations governing voting machines, voting devices, vote tabulating devices, and any software used for each, including the programs and procedures for vote tabulating and testing, (ii) reports of the federal qualification including an accessible voter verified paper audit trail, (iii) The Secretary of State's examination report and any reports of the findings of the examining engineers to the Governor and the Attorney General, (iv) any notes related to the public hearing to give interested parties the opportunity to express their opinions on the voting system, (v) the Secretary of State's report that states whether the voting system is safe for use in elections.

I also request any correspondences related to the success rate, accuracy, vulnerability, or efficiency of the vote tabulating devices from the 2012 presidential election.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
