Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
- Any and all university communications with regard to the invitation of Leilah Khaled to speak at San Francisco State University on September 23rd, 2020 including:
- Communications between university officials and Leilah Khaled and communications between the Arab and Muslim Ethnicities and Diaspora Studies program and Leilah Khaled.
- The minutes of any official university meetings during which the subject of Leilah Khaled speaking at San Francisco State University on September 23rd, 2020 was discussed.
- Internal communications among all university officials and faculty at all levels regarding the invitation to Leilah Khaled to speak on September 23rd, 2020 .
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Avi,
The Chancellor's Office has received your September 29, 2020, request below. We have conducted a reasonable search for these records under Government Code §6253, and determined Request #1 calls for documents that are protected by attorney-client privilege, and not subject to disclosure. GC §6254(k).
With regards to campus-specific records, these are held at the campus in question and must be sought through them. The Chancellor's Office therefore has no responsive records to Requests #2-#4.
