Hello,

In response to your public records request (#1576), the City has found no existing record that is responsive to your request. The City is not required, pursuant to NCGS 132-6.2 (e), to create or compile records that do not exist. See text below.

Could you please explain further? The records pursuant to my request are digital records that are stored as distinct/discrete records within a database. If they were not stored discretely, then your email systems would not work as well as they do!

Bear in mind that the information can also be found through transaction logs.
