Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
-Any expense reports related to active shooter/active assailant preparation (i.e. insurance)
-Any active shooter/active assailant insurance policies
-Any student safety policies related to an active shooter/active assailant
-Any student training materials related to active shooter/active assailant safety protocols
-Any school communications (i.e. emails, letters) related to active shooter/active assailant policies
Please provide materials on a rolling basis, as they become available. We request that the requested complaints please be made available to us as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, please feel free to clarify via phone at 610-637-7745.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Dear Sarika Ram:
The Charlotte County Public Schools District is in receipt of your public records request. It appears that the extensive use of technology and clerical or supervisory assistance may be involved in responding to your request. See Section 119(4)(d), F.S. Once we have prepared a cost estimate for retrieving and providing the records subject to your request, we will provide the estimate to you. The cost of responding to a public records request can vary widely depending upon the number of employee hours required, the complexity of the research and the format in which the records are retained.
Typically, the school district requires advance payment of the amount necessary to comply with public records requests which require the extensive use of technology and clerical or supervisory assistance.

The link that you gave me (below) isn't a valid address per the error message that I am receiving. (See the error message copied below.) I had our tech department assist me with attempting to gain access to this website to upload our documents, but they also were unsuccessful.
I have used the above address (requests@muckrock.com) on three previous occasions to furnish you with our information: on 7/31, I acknowledged receipt of your request; on 8/6, I sent the first group of documents and on 8/10, I sent the final document.
