Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
Incident Details for Footage Retrieval:
Date: June 27, 2019, July 1, 2019(Arrest)
Location: Clear Sky Cafe, Clearwater, FL
Suspect: Serina Wolfe
Incident Summary: Serina Wolfe allegedly used her boyfriend’s credit card without permission to leave a $5,055.37 tip at Clear Sky Cafe after an argument. The dispute began when Wolfe’s boyfriend refused to buy her a flight home to New York. He placed a hold on his credit card, but once it was removed, Wolfe made the unauthorized transaction. The restaurant was later informed of the fraudulent charge, but the waitress had already received the tip. Wolfe was arrested on July 1st on theft charges and booked on a $2,000 bond.
I am requesting copies of all body-worn camera footage from officers who:
Responded to Clear Sky Cafe to investigate the incident.
Spoke with the restaurant staff and the victim regarding the unauthorized charge.
Located and arrested Serina Wolfe.
Transported Wolfe to the Pinellas County Jail.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
