From: Natalie St. John

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Body-worn camera footage of the incident involving two robbery suspects who were arrested in Englewood, following a police chase by Englewood and Littleton PDs either late on February 1, or very early on February 2, 2024. I do not need footage from every officer involved in the incident. Footage from the arresting officer(s) is sufficient.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or a file-sharing site such as Google Drive or Dropbox.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Natalie St. John

From: Littleton Police Department

Natalie St. John,

Your request for BWC for Littleton Police case LPD202400355 is denied at this time on grounds that disclosure would be contrary to public interest CORA statute 24-72-305 (1) (a) (5). There is an active investigation involving our case, Sheridan Police and Englewood Police. Release of these records may compromise or jeopardize the investigation for Englewood Police who is handling all 3 cases. Englewood PD Det. Vogel and Det. Aluise are the assigned detectives.

Until we receive written authorization from either Englewood detective, we are unable to release any records from our case.

Should you wish to contact them, you may reach them at:

Det. Vogel, e-mail bvogel@englewoodco.gov<mailto:bvogel@englewoodco.gov>
Det. Aluise, e-mail baluise@englewoodco.gov<mailto:baluise@englewoodco.gov>
