Pursuant to the Ohio Open Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
an excel document containing the name and email addresses of undergraduate and graduate students from Fall 2017.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

Dear Mr. Freund:
Columbus State Community College received your public records request on December 6, 2018. You requested student directory information in the form of "an excel document containing the name and email addresses of undergraduate and graduate students from Fall 2017."
Generally, students' education records are protected from disclosure pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (34 CFR 99.31). However, the College may provide you information that the College has designated as public directory information under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. Columbus State Community College, in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, has designated student names as public directory information, however, student emails are not designated as public directory information. Therefore, the attached documents contains names only of the students enrolled at Columbus State Community College during the Fall semester in 2017.
