Journalism Classes

Dear Ms. Gomez:

The Connecticut Department of Education received your request for records pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, Conn. Gen. Stat. Section 1-200 et seq. on August 17, 2020. We did not receive the previous requests that were documented in your correspondence. We apologize for the inconvenience.

In your request, you ask for a spreadsheet of all public high schools in Connecticut that offered a journalism class during the 2019-2020 academic year.

The CSDE is still in the process of collecting 2019-20 data from districts. Therefore, we cannot provide you with the data you are requesting. These data will not be finalized until later in the year. Once finalized, it will be made available on our data platform, EdSight (http://edsight.ct.gov/SASPortal/main.do) under the Instruction--> Courses (hover your mouse over the heading "Instruction" and select "courses" from the drop-down menu).
