Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:
Metadata for email communications where Ted Berger is either the sender, recipient, CC'ed, or BCC'ed, sent between the dates of 1/1/2024 and 6/30/2024 and containing one of the following keywords: "Democratic National Convention'' and/or "DNC." Please include any variations that are not case sensitive.
The specific metadata data points I'm interested in are: to address(es), from address, cc address(es), bcc address(es), sent date/time, received date/time, subject line, and names of all attachments. This request does not seek the contents of the emails themselves, and only the specified email metadata. Please do not include duplicate emails. Please provide me with the records in an Excel format.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Please be advised that your request, as written, is unduly burdensome and compliance could not be completed without interfering with the daily operations of Cook County. We had the Bureau of Technology run an electronic search for records and found over 1,800 emails that are responsive to your request. While your request is just for the metadata of these emails, this data still requires review to make any necessary redactions pursuant to appropriate exemptions under the Act. The Office of the President does not have the capacity to review over 1,800 data entries any possible redactions without disrupting our daily operations and delaying other important work.
In accordance with section 3(g) of the Act, I ask that you contact me in order to discuss a reasonable reduction of your request.
