Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
I would like the non-certified autopsy report for Alan White, DOB 6/16/65, and DOD 10/22/20, if said information is public record and can be released to the public. Case number is 188623-2020. I understand that the Medical Examiner's Office, back in January 2021, was waiting for results from Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences. However, if any portion of the autopsy report can be publicly released in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, I would appreciate it.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Ms. Mendler, the criminal investigation is still on going and the Det. Does not want the information released. Therefore, the ME is relying on its previous ruling as the records and the status of the criminal investigation has not changed since the ruling was issued.
