Request for Body Cam Footage of Incident on 06/04/2022

Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

I am writing to formally request access to the bodycam footage under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) related to the arrest of Laura Gallagher on 06/04/2022.

Suspect: Laura Gallagher, 43
Incident Summary: Laura Gallagher was removed from a bar following an altercation involving a 17-year-old employee. She was later taken into custody after engaging in a dispute with officers regarding her level of intoxication and ability to drive. During the encounter, Gallagher made various statements about law enforcement, resisted instructions, and was ultimately charged with battery on an officer, driving under the influence, disorderly intoxication, and resisting an officer’s commands.

I am requesting copies of all body-worn camera footage from officers who responded to this incident.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
