The City of DeFuniak Springs is in receipt of

I hope you are doing well. With the current parameters of the request there
will be a total of 7,076 emails that will need to be looked at and
redacted. In accordance with our policy any work that goes over 30 minutes
which includes redacting information on the emails will be considered
extensive and the person requesting the records will be charged the hourly
base pay of the employees performing the work.

Is there a specific time frame of emails that would still allow us to
fulfill the request?

With the current parameters of the request there will be a total of 7,076
emails that will need to be looked at and redacted. I can’t give you an
accurate estimate on how much it will cost to go through 7,000 emails and
redact the information. But for example, if the employee working on this
request makes $25 an hour you will be charged their hourly rate for the
number of hours they spend working on the request. Judging on how many
emails there are it will take more than an hour.

Thats why I asked if you wanted to limit the number of emails and provide
me with a specific timeline of emails.
