Pursuant to Delaware's Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
For the time period of January 1, 2013 to the present date: (1) All invoices submitted to contractors or the Delaware Department of Transportation for the reimbursement for police officers employed by the City of New Castle working construction traffic duty (on duty and off duty). Include any modified or revised invoices; (2) All written communications, including e-mail, between any employee or officer of the City of New Castle and any construction contractor or the Delaware Department of Transportation referring to discrepancies in invoices submitted for the reimbursement for police officers working construction traffic duty; and (3) All documents or reports regarding any investigation or audit conducted by the City of New Castle or any other agent or officer for the City or the Delaware Department of Transportation regarding discrepancies in the hours submitted by the City of New Castle for the reimbursement for police officers working construction traffic duty to contractors or the Delaware Department of Transportation and the actual hours worked by those officers.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, and is not being made for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
