For each fiscal year from FY2019 through FY2023:
1. The operating budget for the Delaware Department of Corrections
2. The total amount of room & board fees, or fees associated with the cost of an inmate’s incarceration, that were charged or assessed on inmates
3. The total amount of medical fees, including medical co-pays, that were charged or assessed on inmates
4. The total amount of room & board fees, or fees associated with the cost of an inmate’s incarceration, that were paid by inmates and collected by the Delaware Department of Corrections
5. The total amount of medical fees, including medical co-pays, that were paid by inmates and collected by the Delaware Department of Corrections
6. The total amount of room & board fees, or fees associated with the cost of an inmate’s incarceration, that were unpaid and turned into outstanding balance or debt.
7. The total amount of outstanding medical fees, including medical co-pays, that were unpaid and turned into outstanding balance or debt.
8. The total number of incarcerated adults who were charged room & board fees, or fees associated with the cost of an inmate’s incarceration.
9. The total number of incarcerated adults who were charged medical fees, including medical co-pays.
10. The total number of incarcerated adults who participated in work-release or occupational/employment programs.
11. The hourly rate of the work-release or occupational/employment programs operating under the department’s jurisdiction.
12. The total amount of income earned by incarcerated adults employed in work-release or occupational/employment programs.
13. The amount and percentage of the income from work release or occupational/employment programs that was used to cover the costs of inmates’ incarceration or care.
14. Any policies and procedures relating to the imposition, collection, and enforcement of fees associated with the cost of an inmate’s incarceration or care.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In regards to your recent DE DOC FOIA request for DOC Operating budget each fiscal year 2019 – 2023 to include fees associated with cost of inmate’s incarceration, medical fees charged to inmates that were both paid and unpaid balances; total number of incarcerated adults who were charged fees, number of incarcerated adults participating in work release or occupational programs and hourly rate of pay, percentage of wage income used to cover costs of inmates incarceration or care.

At this time your DE DOC FOIA request is considered as an out of State request from Massachusetts and will be denied.
