Pursuant to the Oregon Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Please provide records sufficient to show a current staff roster of all sworn employees with your agency.

Please include;
- first and last name of each employee with their corresponding;
- badge number
- employee identification number
- hire date
- rank or position
- assigned duty station/substation/precinct/location
- current salary

This request applies to ALL sworn Department employees, including those at substations.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good afternoon,
Due to the high volume of public records requests DCSO has been receiving, we apologize for the delay in responding to your request (ORS 192.329(6)).

The fee estimate for the requested search/records is as follows:

* Professional file search 2 hours at actual cost of service ($76.13/hour) = $152.26. Review and redact any privileged or exempt information 1 hour =$76.13. Legal Counsel review of records ¼ hour at $150/hour = $37.50
fee estimate: $265.89

The estimated fees must be paid prior to the release of the records. In the event that the actual costs of producing the records exceeds the estimated costs, you must pay the additional fee before the records are released. In the event the actual cost of producing the records is less than the estimated costs, you will be issued a refund of the difference. The estimated costs must be paid even if it later turns out that all or part of the responsive records are exempt from disclosure. You have 60 days to pay the estimated cost. If we have not received payment within 60 days, we will close the request.

We do our best to fulfill all requests within twenty business days of the date the estimated costs are paid. However, due to staffing and the high volume of public records requests we are currently receiving it could be significantly longer.
