Pursuant to the DC Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

-Any informational and educational materials distributed in correctional facilities about housing options available to inmates post-release
-Any currently valid policies/procedures detailing Department reentry services specific to accessing housing options post-release
-Any statistical reports detailing admission and release trends from between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017
-Any statistical reports detailing recidivism data from between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017
-Any statistical reports regarding inmates' housing status prior to and following commitment to the Department from between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017

Please provide materials from all state correctional facilities and on a rolling basis, as they become available.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

This is in response to your below Freedom of Information Act request.

Please be advised that the D.C. Department of Corrections' (DOC) policy and procedures regarding reentry services, i.e., Reentry Program and Services, PP Number 4923.5D, is posted on DOC's website at https://docc.dc.gov/pae/doc-prgram-statements. The document contains information made available to inmates to assist them in their return to the community, following release from the custody of the DOC.

In response to the remaining part of your request, we would refer you to DOC's website, https://doc.dc.gov/page/inmate-demographics-and-statistics, where disclosable statistical information and data are published. You may review and print any information on that site.

If you consider this response a denial of your FOIA request, please note that, under D.C. Official Code ยง 2-537 and 1 DCMR 412, you have the right to appeal to the Mayor or to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

If you elect to appeal to the Mayor, your appeal must be in writing and must contain "Freedom of Information Act Appeal" or "FOIA Appeal" in the subject line of the letter as well as on the outside of the envelope.
