Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting access to the body camera footage from an incident that occurred in June 2024 in Doral, Florida, involving the arrest of a woman identified as Renteria for allegedly leaving her 3-year-old son unattended in a vacation rental while undergoing plastic surgery.
To assist in locating the footage, here are the details of the incident:
Date of Event: June 2024 (exact date unknown, but arrest occurred June 28, 2024)
Suspect: Renteria
Location: Vacation rental apartment complex in Doral, Florida
Incident: Child found wandering alone for six hours before officers responded and located the mother at a nearby surgery center
Charges: Child neglect
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
