Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any emails, written communications, documents, contracts, presentations, or other communications between officials from the Georgia Department of Transportation, the Albany Police Department, the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office, the Dougherty County Manager, and officials from the company "Flock Safety."

I am seeking records of any kind, including electronic records, audiotapes, videotapes, and photographs, as well as letters, emails, telephone messages, voice mail messages and transcripts, notes, and minutes of any meetings. The search should be limited to responsive records created between January 1, 2020 and the day the request is fulfilled.

Here are the specific officials' email accounts I am requesting to be searched:

Greetings Hannah Riley-

I serve as the Open Records Officer for Dougherty County Board of Commissioners. Your written response dated September 5, 2024 was received by our office on September 20, 2024.

Due to the extensive request involving retrieval of electronic correspondences, the involvement of several departments and entities, and the time frame, there will be a fee associated with the reproduction of records.

At the time of these email, the anticipated costs require notification and are expected to be $170. Please confirm that you are willing to pay any and all fees associated with the retrieval and reproduction of your request as outlined by Georgia State Law.

Please respond no later than noon on Thursday, September 26, 2024. After receipt of your response, a time frame for reproduction can be provided. Please note that an itemized statement of the exact charges will be provided if consent to proceed is provided.

No response will be perceived as the referenced records completing the request.

Additionally, your letter references a 229-878-3198 number. This number has not been associated with Dougherty County in over 7 years. If you would please let me know where that number was found, we would like to update the production company to change.
