Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:
A copy of all data-sharing agreements with the following agencies:
- Oak Brook Police Department
- Hinsdale Police Department
- Oak Lawn Police Department
- DuPage County Sheriff
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

I am looking for any agreements where the agencies agree to share data. This could be for a specific technology, like Fusus or ALPRs, but it could also be related to participation on task forces or other programs.

Dear Requestor,
The Village of Downers Grove is in receipt of your FOIA request submitted
on February 19, 2024, a copy of which is attached hereto. Pursuant to
Section 3(e)(iv) of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, listed below,
the Village is extending the time to issue a response by an additional five
(5) business days because the requested records have not been located in
the course of routine search and additional efforts are being made to
locate them 5 ILCS 140/3(e)(iv).
* Section 3(e) of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act states that the
time for response may be extended by the public body for not more than 5
business days from the original due date for the following reason: (iv) the
requested records have not been located in the course of routine search and
additional efforts are being made to locate them.*
A response to your FOIA request can be expected on or before March 4, 2024.
