From: Bryan Tor

Dear Captain Nate Schmidt,

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my public records request. I am writing to appeal for that request.

The request I submitted on 08/29/2022 intended for the City of Dublin and Dublin Police asks for records sufficient to show the usage of other resident/business-owned cameras in policing, surveillance, and social media/technology. The City of Dublin webpage references a Security Camera Registration program where individuals can register private video surveillance systems at a residence, neighborhood entrance/exit, or at a commercial/business establishment with Dublin Police. I've added the link to the webpage here for reference: https://www.dublin.ca.gov/1815/Security-Camera-Registration

Can you confirm that the City of Dublin and Dublin Police do not have any records or other documentation on data retention policies, use policies, standard operating procedures, privacy impact assessments, or other relevant records demonstrating how resident/business-owned cameras are used?

Best,
Bryan
