From: Freddy Martinez
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Louisiana Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
Any Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), or Inter-Government Agreement (IGA) between East Baton Rouge Police and DHS Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) .
The title of the documents may be "MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT between U.S. IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOM ENFORCEMENT HOMELAND SECURITY INVESTIGATIONS and East Baton Rouge Police regarding THE DESIGNATION OF East Baton Rouge Police EMPLOYEES AS CUSTOMS OFFICERS"
Documents should describe an agreement that designate East Baton Rouge Police officers as "Task Force Officers", therefore I further request the names, rosters, number of TFOs and their positions within East Baton Rouge Police.
Documents about any renewal of any MOU, MOA and IGA between East Baton Rouge Police and HSI.
Please search for records during the last seven years.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Freddy Martinez
