Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
- A record of public records requests submitted to the Sheriff's Office that lists the date of request, the requester's name, the requester's organizational affiliation, a description of the request and the office's response for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018
- Records of policies/procedures relating to the processing of public records requests, for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018
- Records of total direct revenue and expenses (i.e., not including overhead) relating to the processing of public records requests in 2016, 2017 and 2018
- Current schedule of fees relating to the processing of public records requests
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

I continue to work on your request.
Unfortunately, our agency does not collect some of the information as requested. Further, I’ve a point of clarification. Are you requesting information on every record request we process or are you interested in specifically labeled “Public Records Request” or “Freedom of Information Act” requests?
I would request clarification via email or telephone call to (775) 753-2669.
I respectfully request an extension for the date of information provided. I anticipate providing a portion of the information on November 22, 2019 with the remainder supplied by Monday, November 25, 2019.

Please find attached documents reflecting the data collected regarding public records for Elko County Sheriff's Office. These documents reflect the date the record was released, the requestor, requestor affiliation and what was released. Our system does not collect the data specifically as requested.
You will also find attached the ECSO policy regarding release of records and our records request form which contains the fee schedule.
I am still awaiting the financial documents from our fiscal office and will forward these when received.

Good Afternoon,
Please let me apologize for the delay in getting these to you. Multiple requests were required to obtain the records for the correct time periods.
Please find attached the final documents I am able to produce in regard to your records request. Attached are printouts of the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Miscellaneous Revenue Fund. Monies received for the processing of records requests are deposited into this fund. However, I cannot state that only funds generated in regard to public records requests are deposited into this fund. Further, this agency does not track expenses relating only to the processing of public records requests, therefore I am unable to provide this information.
